Quickstart for Administrators¶
This quickstart helps you sign in, select a tenant, and publish your first policy.
1) Sign in to the Portal - Open the PolicyClue portal URL you were given by your IT team. - Enter your email to receive a one‑time access code, or use the Single Sign‑On button if available.
2) Choose or Create a Tenant - Use the tenant picker in the left sidebar to select your tenant. - If you do not see a tenant yet, ask an existing tenant admin to invite you, or create a new tenant if your organization is just getting started.
3) Invite Admins (optional) - Navigate to Admins. Invite colleagues by email and set read‑only if needed.
4) Create Your First Policy - Go to Policies → Create Policy. Give it a name and configure: - Matching: hostnames or hostlists to cover (e.g., file‑sharing sites). - Awareness Content: add decks and questions to educate users. - Intervals: how often a reminder appears. - Options: block instead of warn, and alert on policy hits if desired.
5) Review Alerts and Activity - Open Alerts to investigate policy hits. - Visit Audit Log to see recent administrative actions in your tenant.
Tips - Use Hostlists to reuse domain lists across multiple policies. - Use Branding to adjust the look of the popup and button. - Start with “warn only” to build awareness before enabling blocks.
